About

Described as ‘a thrilling voice’, winner of the 2023/24 Opera Awards in Australia, soprano Eleanor Greenwood, has captivated audiences with her powerful and versatile performances. Recent highlights include the honour of performing on the historic Alte Oper Frankfurt stage, alongside opera stars Martin Muehle and Elena Moşuc in concert with the Thüringen Philharmonie, under the baton of Markus Huber. In 2024 Eleanor made her debut as Floria Tosca in Germany and sang roles in the Bendigo Ring Cycle in Australia, including the role of Sieglinde. A graduate of London's Royal Academy of Music and the Australian National University, she has performed across Europe, the UK, Australia, and China.
